What if one of these anti's discovered that there ancestors were illegal??? Oh my, they would have to leave our country.Who is to say some of there ancestors many years ago didn't sneak over from Europe on some boat.?
I do sort of agree, the so called "white americans" came illegally from Europe and killed the natives, they took their land from them using their advance weapons. And now you have the decendents of these illegals complaining about illegals from mexico, i guess they now know how the natives felt when Europeans came, at least these so called "legal" americans arent getting killed.
But then again, times have changed, this is 2007, not like the 1700s.
Because all Americans ARE immigrants except for the NATIVE Americans whom we have installed on reservations.

Your facts are incorrect.
If someone in the U.S. discovered that an ancestor 200 years ago was illegal, it would NOT affect that person now.
He or she was born here, the parents were born here, grandparents, etc. Remember, if you are born here, you are a citizen...regardless of what your "ancestors" did.
No one liviing today is accountable for what an ancestor 200 years ago did.

No, most Mexicans did not come here legally. You are giving an opinion, not a fact. Yes I am sure there have been illegals from other coutries but not in the mass numbers , like there are from Mexico. I personally have met many people who came to this country and did so legally.
I live in a city where the majority (vast majority) of people on welfare are from Mexico. Gee I wonder why this is ? I work my *** off, go to school full time, PAY TAXES, and don't get my medical care from the emergency room, & pay a sh!t load on health insurance. Why should have to support illegals with my tax dollar while the illegals (from any coutry) work under the table and live off the tax payers?
They don't say 'only Mexicans came illegally', Mexicans do. Whenever illegal immigration is mentioned, Mexicans are the first ones to stand up and proclaim "That's us!".
In a similar move, when Dom Imus used the term 'nappy-haired', African Americans immediately claimed he was talking about them even though there were many white girls on the team he was making a joke about. People of many other races can have naturally curly hair.
