Answer:
Check the internet for the contact information for the State Bar Association for where you live. If he is a licensed attorney and defrauding clients, he needs to be reported.
Sounds like he ripped you off, look into who you need to contact to take free legal actions against him.
Sounds like you may have hired a crook. I hope me and my husband didn't do the same.
We just hired an immigration attorney.
yep im afraid u hired a con artist-crook-kiss-ur money away thats is why it is very important to get info on who ever u work for or do bussness deals with u can i easily GOGGLE some one just type thei name in AND CHECK THEM OUT
Sounds like the attorney I used to work for. I was the only full time employee working under him and he would take mondays and tuesdays off every week, and would tell me to not answer the phone, that "he'd handle it"...problem is clients would email me telling me they had problems. If you have email contacts for the paralegal or anyone else, try that first. If you can go to his office (but I know most of the time, our clients were out of our state, so we would communicate with email and phone only). I'd say, if you already paid a retainer to him, and still can't get a hold of him by the end of the week, go to another lawyer and sue him for the monies you have already paid plus any compensation. And try to find a new immigration attorney. If not, I can help you. Good luck
