Do u agree or disagree with the National Council of La Raza in the fallowing statements :?
( la voz del aztlan is the group which anti-immigrants groups keep claiming the NCLR supports but this is what they think about them ) :
manifestations of hate, intolerance, and bigotry should be condemned by all Americans, especially when carried out in the name of fighting discrimination and oppression against our community. All Americans of conscience should know that this site is the work of a tiny, fringe group and does not reflect the opinions and feelings of the overwhelming majority of Latinos in this country.

is it possible that both pros and antis may agree in such statements by la NCLR ?
please state if u agree or disagree on this with the NLCR and why ?
Answer:
GameOver, I have been doing much research on La Raza {the people, not the race} they aren't and don't support or believe in anything that some on here claim they do.They DO NOT support the notion of Aztlan or discrimination of anyone. They hold English classes to acquaint new comers to America. If they truly were against America why would they teach them English?I found nothing to support those ideas.
NCLR is right and the comminists and liberals are wrong!
Viva La Raza!
I agree, that is the truth, but the anti's will never admit to it. And even if we did take over, it wouldn't be much different than how they came to own the land. They invaded illegally too. And Mexicans did not like it. What a surprise history repeats itself.
I would agree if any of these groups that specify race would be just for Americans.
That is the only way to fight racism or bigotry and have one conscious thought for what is right or wrong for the people of America and not just one race. Hope that made sense.
I dis-agree with anything that laraza stands for.
That article was from 6 years ago. And no I dont buy it.
I have seen ethnic leaders ( any leaders of socio political issues really ) say one thing and do another too many times.
La Raza THIS:

I don't trust anything that comes from those sources, I trust my own experiences and those of my friends and family so I don't buy it.

As Proud Mestizo said, there are so many that will not agree just because that goes against EVERYTHING that is ingrained in them. They will see that it is from La Raza, and automatically disagree.
