I was born in poland and lost my birth certificate and only have a green card.?

How do I go about getting a new one? I live in the Bay Area

Answer:
Write to or call the Polish embassy/consulate?
start exploring on the www.state.gov site and www.usa.gov i saw this recently on some us govt site but cannot remember where. btw ask immg. as you would have had to present some legal docs to get your green card.
You can always apply for a new birth certificate. Go to the libray Refrence desk and ask. And get busy studying for the citizenship certificate if you want to stay. Don't wait until the last minute.
