Without a doubt. A statistic I heard recently too: Homicide is up in Texas, Arizona, Florida, and parts of California, go figure. Heavily populated by what group? They want to because the majority of the Mexicans think a big chunk of our country belongs to them. They're delusional. What they don't realize is that even if our chicken liver politicians do nothing to stop them, when push comes to shove, the citizens will not allow them to take over our country.

Not really. It may seem that way in your case. I would put blame in the company your father works for. They are the ones giving your father's job to another person. The fact that someone else is willing to do that job at a lower rate, does not equate to taking his job. I always look to the company that is willing to sell out their dedicated employees, just to save a buck or two. It isn't fair to your father at all.
Of course they're not, they'd just like you to believe they are. If we just hang in there, you'll get to see them waving good-bye on the way back across the border.

I dont think that they are taking over but defentley not making it a great place to live. I live in a very small farm community and they do alot of work on the farms here and since they came there have been drug problems and it never was like that before! And i cant even walk into the store without hearing spanish. This is AMERICA! SPEAK ENGLISH! Sometimes i feel like im not even in my own country anymore!
Honestly, 150 million Mexicans can't get their country sorted. 15-20 million living in the US (which has 300 million people) isn't gonna do much. Besides, we need immigration, especially younger people. The US should always welcome people who are willing to risk their lives crossing a desert just to work a min-wage job and remit their pay back home. But the solution to illegal immigration lies in getting the Mexican economy to spread wealth better.
The guy below makes a good point. There are illegal aliens from nearly every country, not just Mexico. There are 50,000 illegal Irish aliens in America, but you don't hear the legal Murphy family living in Tucson complaining about their illegal cousins. They only b and moan about those not like themselves. Most of these talking heads on the immigration issue are hypocrites.

Absolutly. Since 1982 I have been a spokesman against foreign invasion. Their goal is to overwhelm all gringos including these liberal mindless selfish individuals who are responsible for the invasion. If you aren't convinced look at how the native peoples in Mexico are treated. The American people are in harms way because of an eastern elite that care nothing for America, it's Constitutionm, and exspecially nationalism. Of course all this fairness talk isn't really fair ,it's about gloabilisation. These people talk about fairness and decency to 3 percent of the population (America) but do not spread these ideas to the other 97% of the globe. People from one country can definitely change the face of another country by overwhelming it through their sheer numbers. Then they start getting into positions of power etc. etc.
That is why countries have laws to restrict immigration.
Ask yourselves this: Not that anyone would want to emigrate to Mexico, but if say over the next five to ten years twenty to forty million Chinese decided to emigrate to Mexico, wouldn't that kinda start changing the face of Mexico?

I think that a lot of people are using scare tactics to justify their hate and bigotry. They don't want to look at Mexicans as people, just like you or I, who want the best for their families. They would rather villianize them by portraying them as lazy, dishonest, and violent, a plague upon society. That is a tactic used many times before by white people who are afraid of losing their control over society. I know a lot of Mexican immigrants and they (generally-speaking) are hard-working, honest, and they pay their taxes. I'm glad they are here, and I am not afraid of becoming a white minority.
