I want to marry my illegal boyfriend, what is the fastest way to do it?
*** i want serious answers not stupid comments... if u write something stupid i will report you ***
Answer:
It's going to get complicated. The 5 year thing can also apply to your boyfriend. Much depends on the country that he is from.
So one thing at a time and what is most important? Your soon to be husband or your real mother, AKA your grandmother which is a whole issue in itself. As another said to get her here you will have to show that you are completely stable, married, job, house, employed, etc. and are completely able to support her.
So husband first. If you get married in the US the fact that you married while he was illegal will slow things down bigtime. This even applies if you marry someone from say England and he overstayed a visa. The usual case regardless is that one marries in the other persons home country and then apply for a visa for the other. That is the fast way and makes sure that the other does not get deported and denied entry into the US forever.
18 and 19? They will be all over you making sure you are doing this for the right reasons which will delay things for a very long time. And yes they will require a great deal of time before you can file for your grandmother. 5 years is the small amount of time.
Him not going back will delay all of it. Your grandmother wants papers? Maybe she can sport for the plane ticket for you to get there.
Though I know much of this and have been there.. 9 times out of ten when someone says "I will report you" even those who could answer fully will skip the question. It implies not enough maturity to sort through what answers you get. It implies that someone is not capable of thinking outside of the box and just want affirmation not a real answer.
I know what you mean about the idiots.. but just think about it.
Go live with him in his country.
I'd also like to know what to do to fix my boyfriend's papers...
you could not get married and live with him also people do get into usa by having someone their marrying another from another place so it shouldn't be hard p.s. I'm 14 so idk much about this but whatever =]
He needs to go back to his home country to start the process of being here LEGALLY. I know you won't like this but he can't become legal while he is currently breaking the law!
As a side note, how can you even consider getting married yet? Sorry but you are still kids! Have you dated anyone else? As a mother, I honestly see this is a marriage that is designed to fail before it starts. You need to grow up a bit more. (I was 21 and I was WAY to young!)
You need to find out what you can do LEGALLY to help them out. I hope you respect America enough to do so.
You do not have to wait five years to petition somebody else. You have to remember that when you petition someone you have to fill out an affidavit of support. So if you get married and you petition for your husband you have to earn enough money to support him. If you help him to immigrate and you want to petition for your mother then you will have to proof that you can support both of them
Jason is right, go live in his country. He has no right to be here, and if we catch him, we will send him back. Or at least we should.
Just go to the marriage court and marry him. Take two forms of indentification each. Marry him like everyone else does. I hope you know what you're doing!
There is no way to fix his papers.
He needs to go back to his home country and come here legally.
