No, we do not need illegal immigrants. I say, round up all the homeless, take them to farms and offer them jobs. If they're willing to work, great. If not, then they get no further assistance from the government, soup kitchens, etc. Takes care of two birds with one stone.
We also need to be cracking down on these businesses who are employing illegal immigrants. They are at the root of the problem and should be held accountable.
They are not working just the Fields anymore, if you were around it you would see that they are working factory jobs, construction( and not just as laborers), hotels, restaurants, etc. for a fraction of the wages that US citizens can't survive on.

That's what I have been saying but who listens.But we also need some type of reform which documents the illegals.The bill wouldn't have given anything away yet it kept track of those here.I wish I were more fluent and could express myself better to help people understand my thoughts on it.Oh well

Many have moved past the fields and are now in construction and factory production, hmmmmm sound familiar? maybe they are looking for a better wage? kind of like the much maligned US worker.

Besides all this, the average wage to pick, for instance lettuce, is $12 per hour. If you tripled that wage to $36 per hour, the price of a head of lettuce only goes up by about $.05 at the market. Trust me, legal Americans would be lining up around the block for a job like that.
They are in every aspect of the work force not just the fields. We do no need them as all they do is drive down wages. I for one have worked in the fields when I was younger and I work in a factory now. They were just raided and got 68 illegals. Those jobs are now filled by citizens who were having trouble getting hired before.

I don't see how Americans (or most people of any Western country e.g. the UK) can complain about immigration seeing as an ancestor of theirs probably immigrated to America in the first place, unless you're a Native American, who form a distinct minority. Anti immigration is pro hypocrisy.
