Definately! Even if he/she isn't convicted they should be booted. The act of getting caught here and entering our legal system (wasting more of my money) should be enough to get them booted back to their original country.

An illegal alien should be deported period,convict him of drunk driving on top of that and the answer is of course. But that would be a rational response and there is little or no rationality in the modern debate concerning immigration.I have a better idea which would to be writing into law that any illegal immigrant convicted of any crime woulde by virtue of his illegal entry into our country be given double the normal sentence under mandatory sentencing with no opportunity for parole,serve 100% of all sentences if you are an illegal. This includes the crimes illegals commit to just stay in the country like identity theft,forging of govt documents,fraudulently receiving govt assistance etc. The flow of illegal immigrants would slow to a trickle once a law like that was passed and enforced.

I believe anyone convicted of drunk driving should be deported and in the case of citizens they should have their citizenship taken away,wether they were born here or obtained it through legal matters.
