Is it easy to change the name on the US permanent resident card when it was printed incorrectly by USCIS?

I've got my US permanent resident card in an incorrect name. I don't have any middle name but on the card it divided my last name in two part. Is it easy to get a new one corrected

Answer:
Call customer service at 1-800-375-5283

They should be able to help you get it corrected.
That is what happened to mine when I first got it. You can do an I-50 application and submit it for corrections.. I think that's the application..

But now, it is not easy. That's exactly what happened to my green card, so I went to (formerly INS) and took my birth cert.

Interesting...
The form is the I-90 which is utilized for card purposes. Go to the USCIS website for further informatiion. It will take months to correct and could possibly have a fee involved. First check out the website.
Go to the USCIS website for FAQ's. I believe you have to complete a new form and submit it with a fee.
