I see a lot of people here being accused of bigotry?
Answer:
I guess I am the biggest bigot! I dont believe in breaking into someones house, stealing, dont believe in child abuse, spouse abuse, I could go on, I believe you get it. Bigotry is a side effect of doing the right thing and obeying the law.I dont think you can argue with people that come from a lawless country about doing it legal!
you are such a bigot.you must hate someone, especially if you are whitey. just jokin...lol damn political correctness
Ignorant people are incapable of knowing the difference between breaking the law or obeying it.
It's a simple concept that cannot be addressed because there is NO JUSTIFICATION> it's much more dramatic to play the race card. They know in this minority ruled policically correct society, it works.
Yeah, it's always been like that here..it's nothing new. Personally, I don't care what I'm accused of. It's not the end of the world, it's just words.
I don't care if I am a Bigot or what anyone thinks of me. I don't care about the PC thing and I'm not here to please anyone.
that is their last political pathetic excuse to try and force a bill so full of bilge on us that we will feel ashamed. If they want to call me a bigot, than they can have at it. You can be sure this bigot *** will be voting them out of office.
Look at the first answer.. maybe you are not.. but you are one of the few.

They are grasping at straws... Just because you have a mind and use it does not make you a bigot.
Lets see I love America , my Country, I,m against people
breaking Laws the rest of us have to obey. I believe,we
should have one language, Yep I must be a bigot.
If wanting all to come here legally, and wanting our laws obeyed, yes I guess in their eyes I'm a bigot.
DENIAL OF THE FIRST SENTENCE!!
Immigration Records
We are all descended from immigrants. Whether they came to America in prehistoric times via the Bering Strait or later on ships, or airplanes, at some point in history, every person's ancestors came from somewhere else. Every American hoping to link generations and reach back in time will ultimately be faced with immigration questions. Fortunately in modern times, we can find answers within the pages of immigration records. The origins of most immigrants are documented in a wide variety of these sources.
Types of Immigration Records
Although the databases at Ancestry.com contain a variety of immigration records, most records in the collection fall into these two categories:
Passenger Lists
In 1819, the United States Congress enacted legislation to regulate the transport of passengers from foreign ports to the United States. As a provision of this act, ships' captains were required to submit a list of passengers to the collector of customs in the district in which the ship arrived. These passenger lists comprise the vast majority of immigration records. The content of passenger lists has changed significantly over the years and information is sparse on earlier lists.
Passenger lists typically include these types of information:
Name
Age
Occupation
Place of origin
Destination in the United States
Name and type of ship
Port and date of departure
Port and date of arrival

Naturalization Records
Naturalization is the legal procedure by which an alien becomes a citizen of a state or country. Every nation has different sets of rules that determine citizenship. Under the Basic Naturalization Act of 1906, naturalization forms became standardized and were sent to the U.S. Bureau of Immigration (later the Immigration and Naturalization Service [INS]) for examination. The formalized process required that a prospective citizen file a declaration of intention in which he or she renounced allegiance to foreign sovereignties. Following a waiting period of five years, an immigrant could then petition a federal court for formal citizenship.
Naturalization records typically include these types of infor
and you should have the right not to be acoused of being of bigotry. you are an american and you are just upholding the law and the law say that it is illegal for them to cross the boder and you are just fowloing the law
You are right...however we have to weigh the rights of a Country, to remain intact and free of illegal immigration, according to his rules...All the right..
Look, I live in Mexico.,I am a legal resident, I have a PhD in medicine...I would not risk my intergrity trying to enter the USA at all, other than entering legally, and ocessionally as a tourist...and back when 1 week passes...why?...I dont want to break the law,,,(I dont need to).You have in the USA, lot of troubles as it is, by letting the depauperated people from other countries to invade yours. It is not USA fault, that some neighboring countries are violent poor and so..so I think , it is a National right...
I wouldnt like to see my country invaded by empoverished illegal foreigners, from wherever they come.same thing.
Count me in.
My country tis of thee, sweet land of bigotry, of thee I sing.
Land where my fathers died, land of the pilgrims pride.
Across every mountain side, let freedom ring.
God bless AMERICA
nope not a problem at all. i get called racist on this forum all the time because i'm against people committing crimes go figure...
No matter what your reason for opposing illegal immigration, you will still be labeled and called names.
The reason they call you that is because they have no legitimate reason why people that come here illegally is right. So sense they have no real argument all they can do is call people names that oppose them.
Ever hear of a term called "deflection".
It's when you are guilty of some wrongdoing yourself, but you want to take the heat away from you so you wrongfully accuse someone of an offense to throw them off balance.
This is what happens when people play the race card. They have no justifiable defense, just the same old, same old, blah blah blah.
You get a star. The pro-illegals make race an issue when it's not.
I am also against illegal immigration, just as I'm against speeding or stealing. But if someone was speeding to get their severely wounded friend to the hospital, I would not judge them. Nor would I judge someone who was stealing food to feed their family. Twelve million Mexicans have decided to leave their friends and families to "break the law" and come to the United States. Why? Because in America they are able to make at least ten times as much as they would in Mexico. Can you judge them? They want their children to have the best future possible, just like you. If the roles were reversed would you do the same thing? Probably, and so would I. You're not a bigot because you think that people should obey the law. But how much time have you spent bewailing the millions of Americans who are using illegal substances or participating in prostitution? What about all of those Americans who cheat on their taxes? Nobody's crying to the government to stop those things because it's not specific to a certain race. But a Mexican sneaks across the border to feed his family and suddenly everyone's screaming for justice. So if you're using "The Law" as an excuse to belittle or persecute your Hispanic neighbors, you are a bigot.
Many people who deride other people with opinions that are not meant to harm people as bigots are disloyal Americans.
You are not a bigot. You're not perfect, but if you oppose illegal immigration because of the environment and population then you're a concerned American citizen.
Unconcerned, well to do citizens often think that America benefits from illegal immigration because it provides cheap services and allows them to dodge minimum wage laws. They don't care about making it more difficult for Americans to succeed, or about the effects of overpopulation or a worsening environment in the public schools because they can pay $150,000 for schools.
There are lot of elitists who either had everything handed to them or played their cards right in school and did exactly what they were told(and I don't mean grades necessarily or intellect.) They are brainwashed by corporate entities to forget their loyalty to America for loyalty to companies.
That being said, any loyal American regardless of immigration and descent should be treated like any other American. America is a nation of immigrants who want to be Americans. If every Mexican wants to be American and embrace the values of the Founding Fathers, then the US should annex Mexico for room.
You are not a bigot. You are a dying breed.
