it's an adaption of the "neighborhood watch" concept
if the minutemen are "vigilantes" for observing and reporting crime.then so are the olds ladies from church who walk around doing neighborhood watch. Whats the f'cking difference?
I don't like it. Vigilante justice is not what this country is about.. and if its such a big deal, why aren't they watching our border to the north?? Those canucks may bring in some of that Molson moonshine and corrupt our youth!
It's a great idea. Now they need to give them the authority to make arrests or shoot illegals since the Government doesn't want to do anything to stop the flow.
Minute Men are important for border control. they are not paid and their are not enough border patrol employees to patrol the border. This is not a racist viewpoint, but if you are for border control, we NEED minute men.
It was a good start. Now more needs to be done to stop the invasion of our country!!

They are disingenuous.If they would just come out and say they don't want illegals from Mexico, I would have some respect for them.But since they only patrol the southern border and not the northern border, it bothers me.Most real terrorists come from the North anyways.And they do it legally..If they are going to patrol the borders, they need to patrol ALL the borders..Not just the south.
Its a group of patriotic Americans who really give a sh.t about their country.As days go by the Minuteman project numbers increase as Americans know whats at stake with this illegal invasion.

My view has been this with this whole immigration thing, some need deported (those who have been a danger to society i.e. gangs, drugs, stealing etc), some should be granted amnesty (those with families, have been here peacefully for many years etc), and border needs to be further reinforced and not by a couple of men who aren't getting paid for it. Why are people crying about the illegals that are already here when the border still isn't 100% covered??? Would you make a fuss over a thief entering your home in the night when you left the door open?? Perhaps, but that isn't logical. Lets worry about the border and realize that the people that are here are already here, first lets get to the root of the problem. Later we can figure out who stays and who goes.
I think they need to get a life! And they are probably all atheist. Where in the bible does it say you need a passport?? Or hold on, did we find the passport Jesus traveled with already?
I think that it's a wonderful way to start reclaiming our nation, to be honest.
I think that anyone who's against it is also against America and should be deported with their favorite illegal aliens.
