Transmissible diseases
Determining Medical Ineligibility
Upon completion of the applicant’s medical examination, the examining physician shall submit the report to the consular officer. The report must include the results of any diagnostic tests required for the diagnosis of the diseases identified as communicable diseases of public health significance and any other tests necessary to confirm a suspected diagnosis of any other “Class A” or “Class B” condition.The consular
officer will list the results on the form as follows:
No defect, disease, or disability;
“Class A”—a communicable disease of public health significance or a physical or mental disorder associated with the requisite harmful behavior, or drug abuse/addiction ; or
“Class B”—physical or mental defect, disease, or disability serious in degree or permanent in nature amounting to a substantial departure from normal physical or mental well-being.
The following diseases are those that the CDC currently defines as “ communicable diseases of public health significance:”
Chancroid;
Gonorrhea;
Granuloma inguinale;
Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection;
Leprosy, infectious;
Lymphogranuloma venereum;
Syphilis, infectious stage; and
Tuberculosis, active.
Don't worry about it, just sneak in like the illegals and you'll never have to obey any U.S. laws again. Honestly, I don't know about obesitiy, communicable diseases are what they are checking. If you are following proper routes to immigration, I'll pray that you have an opportunity to get here. America does have respect for the people that respect our laws.
