Should other states follow Colorado's lead?
It seems to be working there for now.

Answer:
Yes, all states should have tougher immigration laws and give work to Americans and legal immigrants.
I don't think that is for deterrence, it is to provide labor. I think it is a great idea. Agribusiness in CA wants labor and our prisons are in 'a state of emergency' from overcrowding per the Governor. I think they need to pay a bit more than .60 a day to make it worth the hard work to the inmates, though.
Absolutely let all members of a society contribute to its improvement along with the earned right to be shot if attempting escape
Absolutely!!! The federal govt needs to get with the program and start prosecuting all of these illegal employers. However, the shrieker of the house will have fits. She'll have to start hiring legal citizens and documented workers for her vineyards and restaurants.
The legal citizens and documented workers of the United States need to organize a virtual march on Washington. We all need to start faxing and emailing all of Congress and the White House to start enforcing the Laws of this country and deport all ILLEGAL ALIEN INVADERS.
AND PARDON THE BORDER PATROL OFFICERS WHO WERE PROTECTING AMERICAN CITIZENS FROM DRUG TRAFFICING SUBHUMAN TRASH.
Hear Ye, Hear Ye. As a very young kid I can remember seeing prisoners work the Texas fields. But some aspiring activist crowed " no fair; inhuman; I'm taking it to the courts !!!!". So now they get 30 minutes in the rec yard. Then they watch TV or work out and get those big muscles they might need when they get released.
