No the problem is they don't comprehend any type of poverty and those who do feel they want to do something about it want to send money to africa or save the poor immigrants. What about all the poor americans. We were here first and no we aren't just a bunch of lazy whiners who won't do dirty jobs or were too stupid to go to college. America is a land of opportunity IF you have the right money, connections or network and mexicans are pretty good at improving their lives here. BUt not all of anybody has it made in america and my contention is americans first... immigrants later. Nothing like watching a middle aged white man putting up fliers in an upper working class neighborhood. He's looking for work. Everyone who lives in that neighborhood works hard all the time to live there. They've employed MEXICANS to help with the yard and house because they don't have the time. So the poor whites just wander around trying to get work.

You are correct to a point. Those in Congress that are in favor of giving millions of illegals immediate legal status do not have to live in the cities that are over run by them. They don't have to put up with the crime,over crowding of schools, or neighborhoods getting trashed. They can go home to their safe gated house and not worry about what the average citizen has to put up with. They don't have a clue what the real world is like.
