Not only that but the minute that bill is signed into law all the illegals need to do is ask for a z-visa and he is instantly legal, can stay as long as he wants, can bring his family over and is eligible to receive social services. As long as he does not want to apply for citizenship himself, he pays no fine or any penalty at all. Of course, his family members can apply if they wish with no penalty.
We have got to stop this, we really do! I urge you to not contribute directly to the republican party unless this goes away. Donate directly to your candidate.

No, I did not know this until your post here just now. I think a lot of people did not know this, so you should do us all a favor and repost this several times over the next few days at different times of the day so that more people will learn about this. I already had to dig awhile in here before I came to your question. You might want to make the question more to the point in order that more people will open it up to see what your post is about. Thank you very much for the info. If you can find any internet news articles about this, it would also be helpful to post some links as there are those who won't believe it unless it comes from a credible news source.
Frankly, this does not surprise me whatsoever. It is the way this government works in slyly trying to pull the wool over our eyes. I agree with you and some other posters that the bulk of illegal immigrants have not now or ever had any interest in becoming US citizens because most of them have no intention of staying here permanently. Their plan is to use all the freebies, beit education for themselves and their children, medical care, welfare, etc., make as much money as they can and then return to their own countries to either retire in comfort or use their US $ to buy a nice home and/or business back home. They are here to rape the country and the citizens and then take what they reap back home. They have no respect or caring for the USA or its citizens.
