I think that God likes it when His children share their toys. I know that I like it when I witness my children sharing. I don't like it when one child takes what does not belong to them, nor asks permission for it, then when caught expects that the rightful owner should be punished in some way.
God loves the cheerful GIVER. But He also tells us to be wary of thieves in the night. To me, that means I should have locks on my doors and property, but be willing to CHOSE to give to those in need - it does not mean that He would like for me to do away with having doors at all and just allow everyone who would like to own my possessions to just walk in and take them.
