Sounds like a pretty useless task to me.
I grow my own garden and share with my friends and neighbors,who would take a chance of eating produce illegals pooped on ? Might get ecoli.
I think its a good idea.
My father was a big believer in this for other reasons.
I grow my own peppers and herbs and have a bunch of fruit trees such as oranges and apple, but yes I think more extensive gardens would be great.
We would be growing them at home,
They won't have pesticides on them
They taste better because they rippen on the vine or plant and don't have to be picked unripe for shipping, thus they have more nutrients.
I thought of something else and this is a big one - it can protect us from outbreaks of contamination either incidental, accidental or those done on purpose to make people sick.

Yes And I'm glad California lost a lot of Crops,I hate farmers now ,I hate and boycott any one who hires illegals;I call ice on them if the look Mexican.I buy from farmers who I know use Americans only to pick their crops.

That will never happen, 1st of all, most North Americans tend to be lazy, 2nd it will be cheaper for farmers to hire either undocumented aliens or a person with a working visa. You guys live in an unrealistic world. You make no sense.....World war 2 Technology was not advance as now. Why are you going to grow your own crop...........and for that person who stated they would call ICE if they saw a person who looks like A Mexican, not all illegal immigrants are Mexican looking, (and how does a Mexican look?) you are very discriminating(not a racist) We need to take time and learn about other culture.
