Is the McCain/Kennedy Amnesty bill a con job?
This got me thinking about why the pro-amnesty Senators would submit a much worse bill right after the other one failed.
Then I realized it is the "Mall Money Ploy."
A girl wants to go to the mall so she asks her father for $20.00. The father says no.
So the girl waits a little while and then asks her father for $50.00. The father says that is too much, but he compromises and gives her $25.00.
McCain and Kennedy asked for amnesty last year, but it was denied. This year they have asked for so much more. And the other Senators will be like the clueless father and compromise giving McCain and Kennedy more than they originally asked for!
Answer:
Of course they're conning us, at least they're trying to. I think more citizens are waking up to that fact and won't be sold down the river by their senator. This is the most far-reaching, insulting bill I've ever heard of. It's sad that Bush cares more about illegal aliens than tax paying citizens. I hope this bill is defeated.
A master con if they can bamboozle it into Law.
It screws over hard-working Americans who will end up paying for these freeloaders.
I don't think McCain could have found a better way to make himself unappealing to Republicans than supporting this bill. Does he want the nomination or not?
I think your right. Lawmakers these days do not want to piss anyone off they have know backbone.I also think it has a lot to do with money. Illegal immigrants work for pretty much nothing and do jobs that most people do not want to do. Big businesses give money to politicians when they campaign and they need that money therefore they do not want to get rid of the immigrants that work for the big businesses.
The check is in the mail<I will still repect you in the morning>I will not tell any of my friends, You have to be at least 50 to understand these lies and lines, but I think you understand my drift
It's a con, a hoax, a sham, a Shamnesty! It is riddled with so many provisions that most Americans would object to that it should be voted down in the Senate and started again next year. Last year's House bill was much better than this Senate bill because it emphasized controlling the problem, not giving amnesty to almost all the illegals in our country. That is not reform; that is surrender!
I agree with you that this year's Senate bill is worse than last year's. You can find more about this Shamnesty bill at the sites below.
Excellent comparison!
Dude, whoever votes for this bill is sending a message to the American people to bend over and take one for Mexico.
Ohhhh did you get that right , pull the covers over the heads of Americans and hope they don't catch on !!
