Canadian and mexican borders;what do you think of the two borders?

You can smell Mexico, but with Canada it used to take 5 to cross, and now with this nativist paranoia your gonna create problems for towns along the USA, and Canada border, and some communities on the USA side have to go to Canada to buy goods because the nearest town is 3 hours away in certian areas. I think we should shift the border partrols agents towards Mexico to look out for drug runners, and thugs, and open up Candian and USA border actaully make it easier for people, truckers, farmers that cross everyday. Look at Detirot and Windsor border that has more traffic, and goods coming across each day than any border area in the world. Mexican border needs to be secured by more foottroops looking for thugs, and drug runners, Immigration reform is needed so we not wasting time on migrants just wanting to a job to leaf blow, and mow lawns so the border patrol can concentrate on criminal elements, and terrorists trying to sneak across.
Agreed. Many of the immigrants that come through Mexico into the US are coming from a number of countries in Central America as well. In Guatemala I once ran into a Salvadorean getting trafficked to the US, most people would simply assume he was Mexican. With such disparity in the world we will never end illegal immigration.
Why would Canadians come to US illegally? According to UN Canada has a higher standard of living than US. Besides with free health care who can complain?
We're actually considering moving to Canada because the US is turning into a third world toilet like Mexico.
Canada and the U S A, work togather. On the other hand, Mexico helps the illegals cross.
The efforts to close all borders is (1) to keep illegal immigrants from Mexico entering our country without documentation and (2) to protect the US from terrorists. I strongly support both. We're not worried about people from Canada, it's just that the terrorists have decided to use that route to catch us off guard. Until now, that border has not been an issue.

Canada is sooo cool,,mexico,,i dont understand..all car parts i buy are made in mexico,,,more products are made there than here,,so why are they wanting jobs in this country,,,we keep sending jobs to mexico?
We need to make the illegals build a wall to border mexico and place razor wire in the cement while its being built.

Blame the influx of UNSAVORY foreigners crossing our borders! There is a new law coming into effect in January whereby ALL US Citizens will need a Passport to cross into Canada if they wish to return to the USA again!
But Mexicans are able to go back and forth without papers like they always have been.

...there's no real indication of any neg. motive regarding being anti-Americans when you see both flags raised together and that's always been my personal experience... Mexicans(U.S./MEX.)do have similarities but to say that it would lead to an ambush is insane!
Sit a recruiter station at each border and sign them up for the military. I wonder how fast they would run back to their own country then. Mexicans need to help themselves in their own country by making it better.
