Well I think that it is all the way the person was brought up. People think that they can get away with anything just because we were born "Americans." I mean don't get me wrong, I love living where I do, but I agree with you when you give the "rash" description. Its because Americans feel that they, meaning we, are the supreme individuals in this world, therefore we should control everything. Therefore we shouldn't have to do anything. Yes we can freely express ourselves and say what we want...but that doesn't give us the right to degrade and "classify", for the lack of a better word, everyone else. We were all put here to work together(that is if the world was a perfect Utopian society) and thrive together. But the mindset of Americans today is all about themselves and their well-being, not the well-being of the whole. Making almost the whole population self-centered and worrisome. I'm not perfect and I'm not saying that I am. I just feel that some people are more conscious than others. But I agree with you for the most part.
