How do travel to US if we can,t obtain own passport but we are PR in canada? travel by car,thanks?

As of January 2007 you will need a passport to enter the US. Sorry. If you are PR citizens you need to get your American passport to come back in, if you are PR citizens in Canada you need to get your Canadian passport.
Stay in Canada, they like you much better.
The laws have changed recently I dont know what the qualifications are for Puerto Rican whether you will need a passport or not. Since really you are part of the US maybe you wont need one. Call any American Embassy to find out.
Does PR stand for Puerto Rican? Or Permenant Resident? Because your country of origin, not of residency, is what will be looked at.

If it is Puerto Rico, you are a US citizen and should be ok, coming by car with birth certificate and governmental picture ID. Until next year, at least.
