Why do people report abuse on answers just because they may not like a particular response?

I get those little notices in my box every morning. I sort of look forward to them now. I feel if I'm speaking up to say how I feel about anti-illegal immigrants, then who cares how many reports come in.

I report abuse often because of two reasons.
I don't feel the guidelines of MyTend.com allows a person to distribute his or her own particular version of hate against the US, any person or group. When a person violates this, I am quick to report because we don't need that kind of dialog on this web site that allows free speech without being attacked. To distribute hate is not a right!
I often report abuse because I know of many children and young people who come here for information. I think being vulgar, nasty, overly sexy or explicit is not appropriate for this site. There are many sites that allow such comments, people should go to those sites if they want to be sexually explicit.
If anybody violates these two points, I feel it is my duty to report them. You may not like it, but that the price you pay when you agree to rules and guidelines. If you don't like them, go elsewhere.

You're right twice!!...They ask a question looking for what they want to hear. If it's not, they report you. "Any" violation of "any" law is a criminal act. What part of the word "illegal" they are not able to understand?

I know what you mean.I've developed a couple of "FANS" who get my questions and answers deleted on a regular basis.I've blocked just about everybody on here until this insanity and childishness is over.I've got those on here who I consider friends even tho we don't agree on issues.These few I trust.They are also the ones who give valid responses to questions and not the same old same old responses.This is not a pro or anti problem.It's happening to everyone.I'm going to assume it's a few trolls at work or as one of my friends pointed out it's a gamer and they are doing it for points.Points that gain what?Status?Well I could care less about status.I come on here to debate an issue.I'm mature enough to respect other peoples stands and will even point out if they have a valid point or argument.I'm not going to be using this forum much in the future because of all the trolling.So pretty soon the trolls will only have themselves to talk to on here because I know quite a few who are getting fed up.Pro and Anti.

I feel the same as you. Legal immigrants are fine, I don't have a bit of problem with them but it's the illegals I don't like. I have to do my part and pay my taxes in this country and they should be no different.
I get violations regularly, especially when I criticize Mexico, La Raza, illegal aliens, or I call the questioner a moron. I have tried to stop calling them, morons, but it is still tempting to call a spade a spade. I can handle people who disagree with me, but when they resort to calling me names, I take offense.
Of course, anyone who criticizes illegal aliens is called a racist, bigot, Nazi, nativist, or xenophobe. I don't mind being called a nativist because it means - Nativism from The American Heritage® Dictionary -
