Do you think Z-visa will be used for discrimination?
Why do we have to have a different visa from everyone else?
Answer:
Interesting question... Yes, it will show what path you took, but at least it will be legal.
But then again, a green card shows you weren't born here, but that doesn't seem to hamper anyone, or hurt their opportunities. You'd still be able to find employment - don't illegals find jobs now?
You know I never thought about it but I'll bet it will be!!!
we got laws against discrimination?
As far as I'm concerned, even with the Z visa you are still an illegal alien.
12 million in reality will be 30 million in 10 years and won't stop ILLEGALS!
ILLEGAL Immigration #1 concern...
If we don't stop the Kennedy - McCain insanity bill we will be like Iraq 20 yrs down the road with Mexicans being the Sunni's; D's being the Shia's and R's being the Kurds

Well I certainly would not hire you. So I guess you have a point there.
because you broke the law to begin with. You differentiated yourself from everyone else when you came to the country illegally. In my opinion, you should not only be discriminated against but you should be jailed for your crimes.
Because you cheated the system. It is not discrimination, because you chose to break the law and enter unlawfully.
Hey.you wanted to be "special" and that would make you "special"...different from law abiding people. They should be jailed and deported so considering the alternative...there's not much to complain about.
Our own citizens commit crimes, pay their dues to society and their "record" is always there when they do background checks.
If the z-visa allows one to currently work, it would be discriminatory to deny that person employment baised on the z-visa. In the past that person was illegal, but if that person currently holds a z-visa he is currently legal to work, if that is allowed by the z-visa.
Discrimnatory people will use any excuse to discriminate. The z-visa wil not be any different. If I was an employer and I felt a that a person holding a z-visa, and the z-visa allowed the person to work, I would have no problem in hiring if they are suited for the job. My concern is if the candidate is currently legal.
what do you mean why do you have to have one different from everyone else? you kidding us?
Look, in order to stop illegals, there has to be a system or otherwise it's right where we started. I would like to hope and think that it won't be used to discriminate, but as I watch and read hundreds of Mexicans comment, "we don't want the house or the latest cars, we just want the money". In other words, they want the low jobs and not the education. So I really can't see any discrimination due to they will be applying for jobs they would have received without the visa, "Z" or not.
Why do you always complain???????
So we can tell the difference between you freedom riders and the real immigrants, and we can not hire you.
Honestly I believe that people who would discriminate against someone with a z-visa would discriminate against the very same person even if they had been born in the US and so had their grandparents. Some people need no excuse to discriminate other than race or looks.
