If those employers that hire illegals?

were to face ...i don't know .lets say at least 10 years in prison and a 250,000 dollar fine do you then think that they would still hire those illegals?
and if no one will hire them are we sure they would go home?
or would the remain and still deplete our resouces anyway?

Answer:
I'd say that hitting the people who hire illegals with 10 years and 250000 fine is a good start and would do more than anything else to stop illegals from coming. You stop them from working, they go home all by themselves.
10 years in prison for WHAT? they didnt commit MURDER or DRUG TRAFFICKING you know
and you came up with this all by yourself? nothing else?
AZ just passed a law that if you knowingly hire illegals you will be fined. For the second offense you loose you license to operate a business in AZ.

It's the toughest law in the US against employers who hire illegals..
Yes, if you could prove they knew they were illegal.

The root of the problem is that the US government through the IRS provides illegals with all the documentation they need to legally get a job.

Don't believe me go to the IRS.gov website and check out how easy it is to get a "Tax ID" number which has the same number of digits as a SS number and can be used by you to obtain a job.

Why don't we stop the IRS from enabling illegals, and force them to use the IRS documents (tax ID issued on line) to locate and notify employers of these illegals and force them to fire them. And then you're right they'd go home.

Until you stop the IRS you won't be able to touch the employers.
I think that would be a big solution to the problem and the illegals would deport themselves. In Az. a bill was just signed that's fairly strict on employers and some of the illegals are already making plans to move to a more illegal friendly state. If all states passed laws like that,we'd see a lot less illegals.
With their funds cut waaay back ( and you can be sure there will be some companies that still hire), they will probably move on to a different country.
you're dreamin' dude. It'll never happen like that.
Do you really look like your avatar? LOL!

A tax ID number is used to pay taxes not as a form of social security number...go apply somewhere using a Tax ID number

I know its hard to imagine but illegals do pay income taxes because it increases their chances of ever getting status
oh they're depleting our resources waaa!! boohoo!! I'm so tired of hearing that damn "arguement". come up with something else already.
No doubt the current fines are way too low. Hit them in the wallet and they will stop hiring the illegals.
That's a great idea - except we need them to keep producing. Let's stick with the fine you suggested and skip prison time. The best part of this plan is that the government would be provided a monetary incentive to stop illegal immigration (most other failed immigration plans lack this).
It is not all on the employer.

All employers complete an I-9,,(proof of citizenship) and if the illegal has the documentation, ( whether theirs or not) the employer has done their job. The key is having a national data base that can do a picture ID check to see if they are the intended person.

So blame the ones who steal SS cards and Identities,,,and the illegals themselves for use false documentation..
Under Title 8 Section 1325 of the U.S. Code, "Improper Entry by Alien," any citizen of any country other than the United States who:

Enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers; or

has committed a federal crime.

Violations are punishable by criminal fines and imprisonment for up to six months. Repeat offenses can bring up to two years in prison. Additional civil fines may be imposed at the discretion of immigration judges, but civil fines do not negate the criminal sanctions or nature of the offense.

be fined under title 18 or imprisoned for not more than 5 years, or
both.
(B) An alien described in this subparagraph is an alien who -
(i) is an unauthorized alien (as defined in section 1324a(h)(3)
of this title), and
(ii) has been brought into the United States in violation of this subsection.

(4) In the case of a person who has brought aliens into the
United States in violation of this subsection, the sentence
otherwise provided for may be increased by up to 10 years if -
(A) the offense was part of an ongoing commercial organization
or enterprise;
(B) aliens were transported in groups of 10 or more; and
(C)(i) aliens were transported in a manner that endangered
their lives; or
(ii) the aliens presented a life-threatening health risk to
people in the United States.
Heck i no i would break the law and keep giving them jobs..wtf is your problem?
1) Aint gona happen
2) Aint gona happen
3) Keep trying
I think the employers that hire these illegal aliens need to be imprisoned in federal prisons and their businesses closed down .
