That Brenda makes me puke. What a poor ignorant woman...I feel sorry for you. Stop for a minute and look around, what the illegals have done to your country? They have built your freeways, streets, houses, bringing food to your supermarkets, picking up the fruits and vegetables that not a single American wants to do. You never see a American getting a suntan meanwhile they are working so hard in the fields or in the construction or any other hardworking job. I don't support the illegal immigration, but they come because they have a need for a job in order to survive and to feed their families not just in Mexico, illegals are from all countries. They don't get a good pay neither, but still work as ants and they are very good workers. Some people blame President Calderon, but isn't his fault, were the 70 years of the P.R.I. party who ruled the country full of corruption and doing nothing for their own people. Now the PAN the conservative party is trying hard to create jobs to keep the Mexicans citizens in the country and don't have the need to come in order to survive. You can erease 70 years in just 6 years and now with Calderon with only some months in power. People like Brenda just talk with hate and that's wrong, to give a opinion you have at least to have some information about the facts that involve the cause for immigration. Nobody wants to abandon their family, homeland just for the adventure, this is poor people that have endure years of abuse in all aspects, from no food, health and education and no jobs. There is some town down in Mexico were the men commit suicide because they can't find a job and to support their families in desperation they take a drastic decision and end in a tragedy. Be more concious and have some respect for human dignity. God bless you.

I have to agree with the first poster: The Mexican government is not forcing people to cross the border. They are coming on their own because the conditions are so bad down there. If I was a poor Mexican who could make a better living in the USA, I would be walking too.
I think the only way you are going to improve the government and living conditions in Mexico is if the Mexican government is pressured to do so. I think the US and Canada should consider ignoring parts of NAFTA when it comes to Mexico until the Mexican government gets the point.
Mexico is not sending them, they're trying to get away from all the poverty in search of a better life. its not like the mexican govt can stop them. why are americans so against mexicans? think of all that they do for the economy. america wouldn't be the same if they sent all the mexican illegal immigrants out of the country.

Calderon is passively sending them here. He's holding the door and telling them be my guest. If you guys listen to the news , the Mexican leaders are demanding us to let illegal immigrants continue to go through. THat's a message to his people that he wants them to go to AMerica.
