Would it be more advantageous to have U.S. Citizenship or a "Z-Visa"?
Citizenship carries not only some advantages (i.e., voting, holding public office) but also certain duties (i.e., jury duty, subject to military draft, etc.).
Thus, under the proposed "Z-Visa" program it appears to me that an illegal immigrant who is granted an indefinate "Z-Visa" would be able to enjoy virtually all of the benefits of being an American Citizen (except for voting / holding public office), yet would not be subject to the duties citizens owe to their nation such as being drafted.
What do you think?
Answer:
Citizenship, so that way you will not be discriminated against.
Or the Z- Visa, so you won't be sent overseas to fight for oil like the rest of us. Tonight, you decide America!!!!!!!!!...
If this amnesty passed, all illegals that are here now, and those who will come during the 12 months the amnesty is allowing illegals to apply for amnesty, will have documents showing they have been here since 1-1-2007. I am not for amnesty and the z visa is a joke, the American people will pay for dearly for, both in treasure and our way of life
I think citizenship shouldn't be handed out wholesale to people who come illegally, like cookies.
assuming this scam passes and the USA citizens finally wake and really get pissed, the z-visa people may become targets.you figure it out....
DAR I see you didn't read the question again with the brilliant response of citizenship.Anyhow under the z-visa they get no benefits of a citizen icluding Federal Programs. The draft isn't an issue because we don't have a draft duh.
DAR how many of your I D's are going to answer this question?
