What are the eating habits of native Americans. What do they eat beside corn and mutton?
Answer:
Silly you. They eat what you and sometimes I eat. I do steak, mushrooms, spinach and scant potatos. You probably pork out at McDonalds.
I married an NA (woodlands indian) and he ate a very healthy diet. Lots of potassium high foods, lean beef, fish, and chicken, fresh fruit rough grains, fresh vegetables and high quality dairy foods. He hardly ever ate any sweets. I wish I could be so dedicated. By the way Native Americans are not all that fond of sheep (brought to the states by the immigrants from europe). Of course they do love wild birds like pheasant and turkey and those deer and moose are delicious.. but if a bear should cross his path, it might end up in the dutch oven Native American's out west eat a different diet but still healthy.
My favorite is Italian, followed by seafood. What does this have to do with Immigration?
Native Americans meaning those who were born here? If so, the Americas have one of the most varied diet.
If you mean decendants of aborigines (aka Indians) they eat pretty much whatever they can. Their ancestors liked dog (I've had it and it is not bad - I had it in Chinese and Korean food too).
Buffalo, lots and lots of Buffalo.
