I really don't care. If someone wants to donate their money to help them, that's their business. I don't have to pay in if I don't want to, and I can continue to donate to the charities that I feel are the best use of my money.

This so called "Immigration Reform" hasn't passed yet.
And if it does then, yes, let the illegals pay back some of the costs that we, the taxpayers, had to foot for educating their kids, providing social services for these people, and helping their American employers make more profit and evade taxes.

That $5000 isn't a fine, it's a shakedown. Many illegals had to pay the coyotes that amount to smuggle them over the border. Now they have to pay the government to let them stay. Not a big difference.
