Jerry Garcia of 'The Greatful Dead ' American or what?

If he was still around would he too be hated upon ?

Answer:
Don't forgot Carlos Santana. One of my favorites...
no he was born in America. somewhere in SoCal, his father was an immigrant but Jerry was as American as they come.
What does that have to do with anything?
How can you hate a stone!
Who's hating ? I know I'm not. Every country has its Laws on immigration. Because it's the right thing to do... The Law of the land one proposes to emigrate to must be respected. By doing the right thing one reaps the reward of being able to stand tall, rather than living as a fugitive.

P.S.

I know there are those who in their ignorance behave prejudicially towards others. There are also those rightly angered by the issue of illegal immigration. Too often some of them speak without considering their words and how the delivery of their opinion will be perceived by others. That does not make them inherently prejudicial.
Sorry,he was born in San Francisco...so that makes him an American.
And it is The Grateful Dead,by the way.
