Would we allow either Canadian or Mexican citizens into our country if a near extinction level event?
Answer:
Like what exactly?
If something cataclysmic happened in either of those countries that forced people to flee for their lives in mass numbers I don't think we'd have a choice BUT to let them in. I'd have no problem helping people fleeing to escape an event where their only options were run or die.
in a near extinction event ur country will be first to go :)
America has always been one of the first nations to supply aid and kindness in case of disasters. I don't think that would change. But if a cataclysmic event were to take place there would be survivor mobs at our borders, some martial law would have to be established, or refugee camps, much like was done for Katrina victims. There would have to be some order or there would be more chaos. I am sure we would share what we had with Canadians or Mexicans if something like that happened.
Probably, but any event like that would probably make people want to *leave* the country.
I'm sure we would. However, I am also sure we would try to control it.
