Anyone of any age or gender can get kidnapped, not just teenagers, if you are going to an area that is thought not to be safe, you should always travel with as many friends as possible or join a group. But don't frighten yourself from ever going anywhere by worrying about it, because the odds are pretty low of it happening and you have to live your life and enjoy it without worrying too much about the Vermin that masquerade as Humans and do this sort of thing.
