Why are the American people NOT holding the government accountable for not enforcing our immigration laws?

Lou Dobbs speaks to the well being of the middle class tax payers, and he is one of the few news media not be a cheer leader for the illegals

If its been 21 years thats across four presidential administrations, and if the issue is not enforcing current laws..that falls in the lap of the presidents, the congress makes laws, the president is responsible for enforcing them
It's easier to place the blame on those that are coming here then to lay blame on our own country.
Well since we happen to live in a 2-party state that's really more like 2 wings of the same elected obliarchy,why should it matter anyhow.
I ask the same question a lot! Americans do not stick together anymore to stand up for what they believe in. Everyone is in it for themselves and that's it. I am ready to rally if you all are!

Well maybe you should look at things from BOTH sides instead of listening to Lou Dobbs and agreeing with every damn thing he says like a worshipful sycophant.
I've seen plenty of petitions and letter writing. Short of knocking off the person in charge there is nothing else anyone can do.

It is not all the governments fault. The government has laws and the businesses are supposed to follow these laws.
The businesses are not showing these employees on any records and are paying them in cash. The businesses may be telling the workers they are paying taxes for them and taking it from their pay.
The government can only do so much and can only raid so many warehouses. If the correct papers are turned into the IRS for the employees on record, to the government, everything looks right.
Everyone needs to contact their government officials. All year round

I imagine one of my Senators is sick of hearing from me as she is pro-amnesty. The other one voted against the immigration bill as the public hue and cry here was rather loud.
The ones who continue to disregard the majority's views will be the ones with heads hung low as the election returns are posted at the end of their next campaigns. The heat is climbing as state and local governments enact their own laws to prohibit illegal aliens as well.
It's just a matter of time. I have every faith that our sovereignty will win the day, not tomorrow or next week. But it is coming.
