Help! Moving my Italian boyfriend to America?
How hard is it to get him moved over here and get a job? The fiancee visa is out because it requires you to marry in 3 months and we aren't at that point yet. And, quite frankly, I want to marry in Italy and don't feel the government should dictate how quickly I marry him.
How difficult will it be to get him here? What kind of visa am I interested in? Help!
(It will also not be hard to get him a job in his field in my city.)

It isn't going to happen. The best you can hope for is for him to come here as a tourist and stay 6 months. He will not be permitted to work.
If you really want to complicate your life and make things incredibly difficult to resolve, not to mention incur thousands of dollars in legal fees, he can come here as a tourist, overstay the visa and work illegally.
I am going throught the same i am from england and my husband is a us citizen and the only way we could be together was marry this was the easiest way. Unless he gets a job and come's in the country that way but i cant guarantee he will be accepted it may take ages to.
