A press conference will be held at Rancho Cucamonga's City Hall demanding that immigrant day laborers receive the same police protection as all other residents in Rancho Cucamonga and Upland. We will discuss two recent incidents involving day laborers.
On May 9, 2007, near the corner of Grove Avenue and Arrow Highway between Rancho Cucamonga and Upland a sports utility vehicle approached and offered workers a job. Three accepted, entered the vehicle, and were taken to a location near the Ontario Convention Center. Here, these workers were joined by three other workers picked up at another, unknown, location. All six were placed in a different vehicle and their hands were tied. They were driven to Tijuana, Mexico, where they were abandoned. This information comes from one of the kidnapped men, who called his sister, an Upland resi
Answer:
I think that citizens and legals are getting tired of the gov't doing not a damn thing about this problem. Chee is right that 2 wrongs don't make a right, and I don't condone illegal behaviour and especially illegal aliens. But what other choice has the gov't left a lot of the people that care about this country? Not much.
No, not all come here to take advantage of the system, and they don't all come here to make it another Mexico, but those that do (which is quite a large amount of the illegals) are destroying the good thing that were going for those that are doing the right thing.
We are several things:
1. Tired ~ of our taxes going to pay for schooling for children of parents that won't even teach them English. Tired of our hospitals closing down because of illegals that don't pay their bills. Tired of welfare going to pay for the anchor babies which really are paying for the illegals to remain here.
2. Scared that our system will run dry fast. Scared that this country will become like Mexico; and not necessarily that they bring their culture here, but that they refuse to assimilate, for the most part. And that within 20 years this will be a huge 3rd world nation and go bankrupt.
3. Angry and fed up with the gov't that they have done nothing to resolve this issue, have done nothing to enforce laws that are on the books. And that they are considering, yet again, amnesty for the illegals which will only give the message that the citizens and legals are 2nd class citizens. That those of us that pay and vote don't matter as much as people who entered this country illegally. As well as the message to those who are considering illegal entry that all they have to do is wait 15 to 20 years and they too can get amnesty.
What you mean by "slow" is that you didn't get enough people to agree with you.. since this is a copy and paste question, this is my copy and paste answer from yesterday.. I mean since you asked it during a "slow" time and all.
"Now what part of "illegal" don't they understand "illegal is illegal", now that the shoe is on the other foot illegal acts will be defended and called just...oh the hypocrisy of it all."
They shouldn't, they have no authority to do so. They have no authority bc they are not qualified!
Only illegals are allow to break the law and be rewarded for doing so with amnesty , if you or I took the law in our own hands we would to directly to jail, so don't to it
That story I read is very unusual. I've never heard of anything like that. I am for legal immigration, but I have a big problem with illegal immigration. When I was in high school, the hallways were filled with illegals and it was very hard to learn because of all the chaos. I am also not racist, but it's the attitude I don't like that I see from many illegals. I highly doubt a large number of Americans are taking matters into their own hands and deporting illegals because our society is too "PC" to ever deport the illegals.
LOL! Well at least someone is deporting the illegals.
I think if this legislation becomes law, the violence will escalate across the board. Kidnappings, shootings, etc.
Sad, but the way I see it, people are fed up with this crap. When you see Dems and Reps getting together on an issue this emotional and people from all walks of life saying this is just WRONG, vigilante justice won't be far behind.
Makes no sense, this is a great example of the ignorance some people have on this issue - They should have went after the people they help get elected that continue to create this kind of mess.
The few power families like the Cheney's in the U.S. have prostituted big business in the USA to become the leaders of the "New World Order" - by sending jobs overseas and strengthening the countries that always end up turning on us (like the new British government) - So, in order to compete with India, Taiwan, China, and all the others - we in the USA have to accept slave wages that only the illegal immigrants are willing to take - in order to compete with this "new world economy" that they manufactured. Racists continue vote for these "Elite" people, cause they thought they would help their race - but these "Elites" only know 1 color - Green, and could careless about you, me or the illegal immigrants.
They may not have the authority but citizens are not going to stand around and be mowed over by illegals. I think we'd probably have a ton of citizens volunteering to deport the illegals. If our government won't enforce our laws ... somebody else will.
Funny how they have a total disregard for the law unless it's something that benefits them. Heck if they can pick and choose..why not the citizens? After all they did it so they can have a "better life"..the life we had before the illegals invaded our country.
Yes they are. In Ranch Cucamonga some men in a white Ford Explorer picked up 5 "jornaleros" or day laborers with a pretense to hire them. The men took the 5 day laborers and released them in Tijuana, Baja California . This was actually against the law and they have committed a serious of felonies among them being "FALSE ARREST" which is a constitutional violation. And YES the constitution applies to everyone on American soil. Another felony is kidnapping which is punishable in federal prison for 5-15years. Another one could be battery, assault with a deadly weapon and so on. Any action on the part of the government to legalize this is unconstitutional and will not be permitted remember checks and balances.
hell no. theres too many idiots out there. i dont want sum dumbass thinking im illegal n trynna tie me up n all that *. ill fuckin kill them.
if our govt would do their jobs we pay them to do, up holding the law is one of them. we Americans wouldn't be doing it for them. they should feel good that we are not demanding the pay for deporting the illegals. we should do the same thing a person in San Francisco is doing, sue the city for not doing their job about illegals. and by the way, never listen to a monkey. they have no right's, they are illegal.
