How do we get the US Government to secure our borders ? Your thoughts please .?
Answer:
They don't want to secure our borders. It's all about profit for the rich and eliminating the working class. It's about the North American Union. Our elected officials are in the pocket of multi national corporations and banks. We are given the illusion of a democracy to pacify us, meanwhile we squabble over democrat or republican. It's all a big game, and we are all the losers.
Securing our borders could be done with the stroke of a pen.
It will take a hugh Mass March on Washington of Americans that are legal from every Veteran and Civil Rights Group!
I agree with Sassy. In addition, march a lot of armed Americans to the border to nab anyone crossing. Anyone resisting with armed force is to be shot.
That would force the issue pretty quickly.
The Minutemen need a lot of new recruits.
I agree with Sassy! It's about marching taking it to the streets. Let the government see what we want. DC would be great. But maybe the first march should be one where all the people in there states march on down to there capital. Let the states start doing something about the problem. The governor of Mass started doing something about it. However when the new governor get in he repelled the measures taken.
So let's march in the capitol of the states we live in the organize a bigger march before the presidental primies in DC.
Kick all those money hungry middle aged asses out of office...maybe then we'll get their attention. All the money we pay them and we still have to BEG them to secure out borders...bull ****.
Big marches across our cities and Washington, all against illegal immigration, amnesty, fencing of our border and stop outsourcing our jobs to other countries. And stop lying to us..

and lots of letters. Bush is going to make a new push for comprehensive reform tomorrow. There have been pushes on Capital Hill this last week for the 'open the border' crowd, and we need to make it clear those are the minority.

i think that the government should build a wall and have troops patrolling the borders.
Fences fall and are difficult to keep in good repair. And they can be dug under, cut through, and otherwise circumvented.
There are not enough eyes in the world to monitor the borders
If the US Government is serious about securing our borders the best thing to do is to enforce laws already in place
Instead of building that stupid wall, put more money in the Border Patrol. Also, get your voice heard!!
It gets me sick everytime i read about border fence. Do we really need it like what they did in Berlin 50 years ago?
