Since America was not an established sovereign nation with defined boundaries back in the 17th and 18th centuries, it really wasn't illegal for migrates to come here. However today, America is an established sovereign nation with clear and defined boundaries so people can not just come on in as they please.
Even native Americans came from Asia across the Bering Strait. I've seen the immigration records of my ancestors, they came here legally. How about you?
True. America was founded and prospered because of immigration and immigrants. But that was hundreds of years ago. We now have sovereign borders and immigration laws.

But that really slides right past the problems in America and the illegal alien problem at this time. I am not talking about just the Mexican illegals. We have illegals from all over the world.
However it has been proved that it is the illegal Mexicans that are over taxing every states Aid systems medical systems and even the law enforcement systems.
Many states aid systems are on the verge of collapse, Social Security is in trouble and yet thousands of new claims filed by illegals are filled each year.
They say they want an education. Yet the drop out rate in L.A. schools of predominately Mexican students is 60plus %.
Well they're Americans now!?? So don't even try to soften people up with your Liberal nonsense! The key word these days is illegal!! They are over here illegally if you don't like it cross the Mexican border Illegally and get caught! I'd like to see you run your Liberal mouth then!
Back then in the 1600s there were not laws about immigration and all that; it didn't exist. Also, during those times different groups of people fought over land that they wanted, it's not like the way it is today. The Native Americans were not just one group of people, it was hundreds of different tribes across America. So the colonists just took land away from tribes individually, not an entire race because the different tribes had nothing in common with each other.
Come up with a new excuse please, this one is getting really old and is now boring - besides a large percentage of Americans have some Native American in our ancestry somewhere as well as many other mixes. Buckle down and think of a new argument.

I did read I find you intellectually boring and you may not be aware of the fact that we are now a very mixed nation, do you know whats in your ancestry?, bet you don't. How many 100%'s do you now expect to find and how are you going to determine this, DNA? You could come up with a better argument than 100% Natives if you tried.
Are you a moron? Sure this country was founded by Immigrants. When the white man came here THEY WERE THE IMMIGRANTS. But the white man also fought for the land and built this nation, along with it's governmental ways. Ways in which so many illegal immigrants wish to be a part of. They set boundaries, laws and taxes to continue building this nation. So if your not a LEGAL Immigrant you are part of the problem. You want every thing that Legal Citizens worked so dam hard for... with out forking out the required standards to become a legal citizen...is that RIGHT? My ancestor were born on this land, yet they STILL HAD TO BECOME LEGAL CITIZENS OF THE USA.
The laws set by are founding fathers were set for a reason. Reasons that keep illegals or any other immigrant RUNNING to our borders. They want the American Dream. But they sure don't want to have to take the necessary steps to gain it.
About sovereignty before Europeans arrived...the nations here first were and still are sovereign nations. Not one nation, many nations. If these were unruly unorganized groups with no land and no law, European nations wouldn't have felt compelled to negotiate treaties with them, some of which are still honored. The Jay treaty of 1794 allows natives of Canada to come to the US to live and work without a visa or green card. It's still honored.
Many tribes are STILL acknowledged by Federal law as separate and sovereign--not subject to state or federal regulation. The fact is, the nations here first DID have an immigration policy, that's why they fought and that's why we negotiated treaties.
