Is our president deaf, or just dumb?

"I'll see you at the bill signing," Bush said confidently about an immigration bill that has run into deep trouble on Capitol Hill.

I swear this man is trying to start a war in his own country. Doesn't he realize there are way more of us than him and his cronnies?

Answer:
Both and you can add out of touch with the American people. He lives in his own little world surrounded by people as oblivious to reality as he is. He needs to be impeached on grounds of mental instability. Hes a legend in his own mind. The real people that make up this once great nation are awake and we are angry at this blatant attempt to give this nations heritage away. It will not happen. This is my country and it does not belong to any illegal aliens.
No Shamnesty and no more Bushit !

Political favors and partisan thinking is created by a two party system. We need a viable third party to level the playing field . The President shapes policy and he has a direct affect as to how the Congress votes.

I am as far from being a liberal as Bush is from speaking the truth. I am a very conservative thinker and voter. I was Republican .. I am now an Independent.a direct response to this illegal alien farce, being perpetrated on the legal tax paying American public.
BOTH!
To answer your first question, he's definitely dumb, might me deaf too. Yell "monkey" at him when you see him, and if he doesn't respond, then he's deaf.
No, he's filled with hubris, which is worse....
A little of both apparently:

"Thanks. A couple of points on that. First of all, I don’t think I called for a deadline. I thought I said, time — I did? What exactly did I say? I said, “deadline”? Okay, yes, then I meant what I said." - Gee Dubya Bush
wow, another hard "fact" hitting insult from a lib.

He is neither. Maybe you and your 'cronies' should quit your crying.
We need to keep calling congressl. It's about time someone stood up against this tyrant.
This President, like most politician's have their own agenda.
Whatever kind of legacy he leave's behind from his Presidency, is really something he could care less about. With Iraq, and everything else he has done in office, Bush will most definitely go down in history as the worst President in American history. That's a done deal, he knows it, and now he's just doing what is beneficial to himself and his business buddies.
I think Albania must have gone to his head. He is so admired there that he forgot that he was at home now where people are sick to death of his ridiculous immigration bill. I don't know if he's deaf, perhaps as he seems not to hear the American people. I do feel that he is dumb, the first time I heard him say nucular it was like fingernails on a chalkboard. If he can't speak English or know grammar, how likely is he to expect it of anyone else? He seems hell-bent on destruction of this nation and I can't wait to get his butt out of the Whitehouse and back on the farm. His cocky attitude, like a little dictator, rubs me the wrong way and I don't even watch him if he's on anymore. He's done more damage than any other president in our history. Sad seeing as how he was appointed, not voted in.
Why is it so easy for people to get side tracked on these types of issues? THE PRESIDENT DOESN"T MAKE LAWS IN THIS COUNTRY. Congress does.
I know it forces people to look at the bigger picture and they're not always able to, but it's Congress that has failed us on immigration reform, and they're the only ones who can do something to fix this mess. They are the ones not listening to the public. Most all of us think GW is a dope, but in this case it just doesn't matter.
He is deaf, dumb, crazy and a baboon.
"Way more' does not mean 'way right." In many cases in American history, the majority has not always been right. One example is, the civil rights act of 1964. The majority of people in the United States were opposed to equal rights, and school integration, etc., but it was morally the right thing to do. Much of the U.S. population in the 1770's were opposed to George Washington, and the founding fathers in trying to gain independence. Many were afraid to ruffle the feathers of the British.
Also, if you will look at the history of the early 1860's, the majority of people in this country were opposed to the actions of Abe Lincoln. All of the south, and about half of the north hated Lincoln, but history proved he was correct in his decisions. Lincoln would have probably had about 25% approval rating if we had such polls in those days.
At one point (in 1939) many Americans were against getting into World War 11, but Roosevelt was finally forced to make the right decision.
Isn't it possible that Presidents of all political parties such as Washington, Lincoln, Roosevelt, Kennedy, and Bush, knew more than most of us who are just ordinary complainers?
why you complaining?

most people vote for him.

just thank the rest of the American people.
And there are too many people who will rubber stamp his decisions like Gene above me no matter how stupid.

Face it neither party represents us unless you are a sheep.

The dems want more uneducated, low-income people that will vote for the huge benefits they will buy their votes with.

The repubs take money from the chamber of commerces in order to drive down wages and turn us into a 2 class society like we were 100 years ago.

We need to vote these fools out and only vote in people who will represent US.

As for this bill possibly being looked at like the civil rights movement, or other human rights type issues, they have nothing in common. This issue comes down to protecting Americans rights and treating the millions of elderly and poor we already have with dignity instead of bringing in tens of millions more.
