Is it hard to get a Schengen visa?

I'm a young guy 22 years. I live and work in Dubai, so I'm not going to Europe to settle there illegally.
Will they take this into consideration? Cause I heard they are strict in handing visas, especially to third world citizens.

i dont think so. if your papers are ok, they will issue one.

i got one when i presented a employment certificate from the company , so if you are able to secure a letter from your present employer (that means you are securely employed), they will most probably give you a visa
