Question concerning immigration?
When I finish school should I apply for a green card or study visa?
Is there a limit on the amount of times you can enter the lottery, if you don’t win?
Any thing else I should know, or info to help would be gratefully appreciated.
Answer:
I guess it would depend on where in Europe you are, I think laws regarding immigration and such are different in every country. I also think the number of people from each country may be different in the U.S. So you should get all information about this and your postition in it from your own country and they would know all the limits that our country has decided for immigration to our country. Stay in school and best of luck to you in your future endeavor.
Study visas are easier to get, as I understand it, but don't let you work more than 20 hours, also getting one doesn't really give you credit towards eventual residency, you have to go through the work visa process afterwards. You can enter the diversity lottery as many times as you like, if you are from a country included in it (which does not include the UK except northern Ireland. It is for those countries we haven't many immigrants from.)
go to uscis.gov for the options.
1.You must come from an eligible country.
2.You must have successfully compleated Primary and High school education.(normally 12 years of education).
3.There is a limit, you can apply only once every year till you win.
Better,if you have money apply for student visa.
Should I drink coffee or tea in the morning? Should I have coke or pepsi in the noon? Should I eat fish or chicken in lunch? Can you answer this? No. I can do either. I have to decide as per my choice. Similarly, you can take your own decision that suits your taste and mood. All that you need to know is eligibility. Check with immigration lawyers / US consulate in your country.
if u r going to move here, just get a green card.
u can enter any lottery u want as many times as u want. some people have even won multiple times.
