Moving to Ireland from USA in about two years...?

and I need some help getting started. What do I need to do? Who do I need to talk to? What paperwork needs to be filled out? Requirements for entry? Never moved internationally so I want to get ahed of the game and I definitely need all the help, suggestions, advice possible!

Answer:
great place to start is the embassy of Ireland website http://www.irelandemb.org/

Citizens Information is an Irish eGovernment website

You should find a place in Amercica that can help you like an Irish Center. You will need to get a working Visa first and passport. I think that is the first part.
You need to be more specific as to whether you´re seeking a work or spousal visa. The EU has strict regulations on which non-EU citizens they let into their countries. If you´re married to an Irish person or can prove your father/mother or mother/grandmother were Irish you´ll probably have more luck. Contact your nearest Irish consulate.
