Don't use "amnesty" unless you're ready to learn the definition of the word.
Illegal aliens did not receive amnesty. Amnesty is a pardon for an offense. They were not pardoned, they were fined $5000 a piece.

What do you think the odds are of these "poorest of the poor" ever actually paying the fine? And I believe it's been dropped down to $2000 per immigrant, or $5000 per family. HARDLY even a slap on the wrist. Nevermind that they get WAAAAAY better benefits than our law-abiding IMMIGRANTS who came here LEGALLY!

Stop arguing semantics and focus on the real problem! Aliens broke the law to get or stay here, they are not "undocumented workers" (and certainly not ALL of them are even workers).
Give them the option to leave themselves and be forgiven (amnesty for their crime of coming here illegally) and given a chance to come to the US the RIGHT way.
Or, deport them and ban them from re-entering the US again EVER.
In some ways, out government was brought and paid for by the business lobby, and La Raza for cheap labor, and passed the bill to the middle class tax payers. I don't know if it is a dictatorship, but it is a travesty visited on the American people and we will pay for it both in treasure and our way of life. It will change this country for the needs of the illegals and not for the needs of the American people
