The previous answer to this question makes me react. Do you really think that people risk their lives to move to the US just to "jack the US instead of fixing their country"? Have you ever heard of civil war? Ever heard of poverty? What would you do if you couldn't survive in the country where you were born? If there was a dictator ruling this country? Do you think it's easy to live your homeland? I left home. And it was hard. And my plan was never to jack your country. I work hard, I pay taxes, I'm an honest citizen. I'm sorry if you think I came here to take things away from you.
Its a secret backroom deal , to increase taxes on Americans.
They don't care. Most illegals do not want it. They want to live in Mexico. They are just hear to make money.
What do YOU think they want? I think they only want to be treated with respect and given an opportunity to better their quality of life.
well if they don't want citizenship they can go home!
Most only want to work here and send the money home and when they have enought money saved they go back.
I wonder that myself . because most of these people who are here illegally would not qualify to do anything better or have anything better than what they already have. Therefore, does it make sense for them to fill out forms and pay money to the government for immigration, taxes and healthcare, learn English and generally comply with our laws to get what they already have for free?

Honestly, is that what you believe is going on? Perhaps, rather than wallowing in self pity, blaming others for distruction, and posting idiotic questions, you should do something constructive.
If you had any idea of the situation many immigrants came from, you might feel differently.
And, if you are so against others seeking refuge, pehaps you should buy yourself an island so you can dictate proper procedure.
