What makes a person think it is just a little, teensy, tiny thing to come to our country illegally?
What makes a person think that having the U.S. taxpayer pay benefits to illegal aliens is a small thing when they come by the tens of millions?
What makes our 'leaders' and many ordinary citizens so unconcerned for our forests, wide open spaces, wildlife (including songbirds), soil, groundwater, peace and quiet.
Did they grow up on pavement? Do they not know what it is like to have forests in their back yards? Traveling to a park far away once a year, or once every two years, or once every five years, doesn't develop within a human being an intimate love of nature and environment. There goes the country. There goes the planet.

You are right! The positive effects are well known; the negative effects are rarely discussed. I've seen some different studies around they all seem to estimate each new family that comes to America will use about 1 acre because as the population grows, so do the amounts of roads, houses, energy usage, schools, etc. We need to start looking into the future. In about 60 years, if we continue on this path, our population will double! DOUBLE! That doubles the amount of pollution and resources used. I'm surprised that the environmental groups that said we can't build a border fence because we'll disrupt the animals aren't jumping up and down about this!
Because they don't even get teensy tiny punishment for it.
I never heard any ever use the term "little, teensy, tiny thing" when referring to this issue. Don't be so emo.
