A woman applied for residency for her spouse when first married, the couple separates for 3 years (never divorce) and all I.N.S. paperwork is put on hold. Well after 3 years the couple gets back together and decide they want to proceed with the I.N.S petition for residency. Attorney General (child support division) was involved for child support payments but case has been closed... Is it possible to continue with the petition and if so will the Child support case affect things?
