All of these ILLEGALS should not be receiving anything at all from the government. They dint want to even try to assimilate into our culture, they have the audacity to fly a Mexican flag in OUR country. They don't come here for jobs to better their life, they come here to make the USA a cesspool just like Mexico is. As for medical care, I think along the lines of some other answerer's, put a band aid on them, and ship them out of this country!!!!!!!
Absolutely. I don't expect to move to another country illegally and have them support me and my illegal family members. Only in America....sad!
No (except emergency healthcare until stabalized sufficiently for deportation), nor should their children get education. That sounds heartless, but our next door southern neighbor does not give universal education to its poor, so it is a HUGE magnet bringing them here. Meanwhile it is ruining our own children's schools.

It depends. Actually, it is a misquote of the regulations to say that any illegal can get public assistance. I am under the understanding that if you are born in the USA, you are automatically a citizen. If you are in need of aid and your parents are illegals, the aid is meant for your American children.

Mexicans cross the border simply because there's always someone in need for cheap labor, and that ain't other Mexicans, it's often WASP establishments who hire these cheap laborers for peanuts.

I'm an American citizen in need and I don't receive assistance of any type. Unfortunately, my skin is white, therefore I don't qualify.
I don't think they should get anything for free. It is totally unfair that American citizens foot the bill. There are thousands of citizens that work every day, were born here and get no free health care, so why are the illegals allowed to. Deport them all, if they are sick, boohoo, go home!

First off, If an illegal immigrant has a U.S born child only then do they receive public Assistant like the other American children. Some and I do say some illegal immigrants do pay their taxes so are they in fact available to get healthcare etc. You may get angry all you want but their are American born people who are receiving welfare and living off the system, and don't put anything into the system.
The only assistance illegal immigrants should receive is travel assistance.

A long time ago in a country far away people actually had to earn their money, they raised their crops and they ate their crops. People actually lived off of only what they could do for themselves.Now we have entire segments of the population that believe it is our job to fend for people who refuse to do what it takes to take care of themselves.
I don't mind to help somebody when they are down but when they put themselves into that position by lawlessness and selfish behavior it just doesn't make a lot of sense to help someone who refuses to do the right thing in the first place.
They should get medical assistance but not economic assistance.
I've been in and out of Mexico so many times I've lost count. Never, ever did the Mexican government give me so much as a dime for a handout. And you know what.... I certainly would not expect it. I'm no one's charity case. For some reason, that logic is enstilled in those who were born on this soil to legal parents. On the flip side, those who want to slide back and forth between borders have no allegiance to this country. The Mexican government needs to get its head out of the sand and help its own people with economic assistance. The USA is not one big day care, free of charge.
The humanity of this issue really has no relevance. I should not be forced to pay for anyone but my family and myself. I don't mind helping my fellow American who is willing to work but has fallen on hard times but I don't think it is right for me to have to support anyone who wants to come to the US even when they break the law.
I don't even know anyone that gets welfare or any kind of assistance.My great,great grandfather would come back from the grave and beat any one in our family that did accept welfare to within an inch of our lives.We were taught a very strong work ethic from the day we were born almost.We were taught that you had to work for what you get and you must give quality work for the money you are paid.If any of us had a problem,we helped each other .We didn't expect the government to take care of us.
I don't like the thought of millions of people of any country legal or illegal on the public dole.But I also know there are people out there that truly need a helping hand.Welfare should be a temporary fix.... not a life style.

They will tell us that, no they aren't getting state nor government benefits, but with stolen ID and SS cards, they sure are. As far as medical, they know all to well that if they go to an ER, they must be seen, if it were life and death, might be one thing, but they go for everything and anything.

Yes they should be able to recieve it. They are putting in more than they are taking out, and second of all, it WOULD be wrong not to help anyone. If we can help criminals, we can help illegal immigrants who actually contribute to society and do work that Americans wont do.

they said they came here for the jobs no body else wanted..thats a lie thats a gateway into our country. then back in portland oregon they started taking the construction jobs that paid 25 to 30 per hour.. suddenly these jobs no only pay 10 to 12 per hour. they wrecked the economy with what they did.. you cannot find 10 framers now that are white. they moved away or the mexicalis drove em out of business. Enough of this the employers use this to break the wages down and still charge a huge profit.. bush wont do anything and congress wont either so it time to throw the whole lot out of office. bring this damn army back from iraq and protect us on the home front.. we need a wall. i am in construction and ill help build it. steel reinforced concrete 40 feet high and 60 feet thick with complete barracks inside something like the french wall built before world war 2 but i am sure only the chicoms will try to parachute over it. digs its foundations deep with ground pentrating radar in a no mans land 1 mile out in front. land mine the crap out of it. have man traps and everything. put our money where it matters. guard towers ever 1000 ft along the whole border and build a canal which is easy out along the front of this whole thing so the coast guard and navy can use fast mover boats to interdict the swimming wet backs. We can stop em i know we can stop the bean pickers once and for all! and then its time to clean house once we get the tit turned off. deport deport deport until theres no more illegals to deport. hooooraaaaaaaah
