Asylum in UK?
What are the chances of being granted asylum in the UK? SA i snot officially at war but with the numbers of deaths it almost is...
Answer:
Do us all a favour, go back. Go back to the country you were meant to live in.
I think your chances are extremely good. I hope you come over soon. x
There is as much danger here as there, as the country is full of low life foreigners.Who will give me thumbs down,so best stay where you are.
Waaaaa! Buy a gun and take your chances.
well come and join us, we welcome poor people who are in fear of their life's, but the chance's are you'll find your in more danger here than your own country, as we have so many Asylum seekers here who are in fear of their lives too, unfortunate for us, most of them are wanted for murder in their own country, but once they have cried "asylum" we are stuck with them,
Paula,
You won't stand a chance I'm afraid.
You have basically no chance of gaining asylum. You cannot claim asylum on the grounds of generalised crime short of the level of mayhem currently seen in Iraq. You would have to demonstrate that you were at real risk on account of political activities, ethnicity, religion, etc, and that the risk come from the goevernment of your country or other similar organisations. There are cases where women have successfully claimed asylum having fled their families from countries where women have essentially no protection, eg Pakistan.
Take it from me, having worked with asylum-seekers for many years, that it would be extremely difficult to win such a claim, and not worth the grief you would receive and the misery of life in the asylum system. Also, I would not recommend overstaying on your current visa. Instead, you might think about a student visa, or else consider another country like Canada.
Good luck.
Marry a Brit and you should be OK. Just look in the personal ads of a news paper find a gay fella and tell him your story.
You have no chance. Sorry.
In order to be granted asylum, you have to be at risk of state sponsored harm. The UK is more relaxed than others in that if you are also subject to non-state presecution, you can be granted a right to remain. The rules however will not cover you.
if youre here on a working holiday youre already halfway there and the fact that SA is a former commonwealth country is an inportant stepping stone. Apply to the home office. Good luck!
youre avin a laugh aint ya,im born an bred here and had far far worse than that,
It appears to be quite easy.
You just arrive here claiming that your husband beats you up and you are in fear of your life.
Get your two sons to join the british army and have a child to a lover in this country.
Get the local community where you live to support you and bobs your uncle.
We are full go to France
