Minutemen are patriotic. They come in all colors of skin and ethnic backgrounds. Playing the race card against them is pointless.
The government is betraying it's own citizens and that is truly sad. The government needs to tell the Mexican government to be silent and stay out of our business. Mexican law prohibits foreigners from meddling in domestic affairs. How hypocritical.
Even worse: When they actually DO their job (shooting a drug smuggler), instead of giving them a medal, we throw them in jail. Sad.

Although I don't agree with the cause of the Minutemen, are you actually surprised that the private sector and the free market do a better job than the government? That's true in almost all cases. The government is slow and bureaucratic, unable to respond flexibly to a crisis or concern without filling out five hundred pages of paperwork.

Yes it is sad. To the guy who claims they are gun toting red necks you know little about the minutemen. They are armed with cell hones and water bottles and they don't attack and harm the criminals. They call INS and border patrol and inform them of border jumpers position. There may be some bad apples but there are bad apples in churches, schools, police departments, military and in just about any other large group you look at.

The Minutemen happen to be heroes. They don't carry guns but they should as many of the illegals and coyotes do. They are here to protect us and to preserve our union. The minute men are so racist its sick. In Washington they were screaming at protesters to go to Hell. According to news stories they are potheads and disullisioned losers who feel their neighborhoods are being ravaged by drug dealers. Of course that would be the main argument for the war against drugs. I am sure if they could get drugs from abroad without paying for them they would not be complaining about illegal aliens. Most illegal aliens don't mean any harm and given the opportunity they could become much better people than self appointed border patrol. Another thing, border patrol agents go to jail for defending themselves against drug dealers while these minute men get away with hate crime shootings that have nothing to do with enforcing the border. Its flat out racism riding the piggyback of a legalized fox hunt. It is sad that the government hasn't put a stop to the minutemen as of yet. Just give it time and the murderers will be brought to light. Yes they may give an illegal alien water to drink but thats when they are about to be transferred to legal authorities. Whatever else happens prior to that is fair game for the minute men who fancy themselves as patriot guard for a populace too busy waiting for a legal and constitutional way to end this morass.
What they really need to do is expose the people who both profit and exploit the illegals instead they focus on the defenseless illegals.
