Immigration help?
Answer:
I believe he would have to file for citizenship. First get him and her a visa and get them over here from whatever hell-hoel they are in now. You already being a citizen will help though. Just go to the INS website to find out more
maybe your dad, i don't think you can for her
Your dad was married before you were born?
Maybe I'm confused but, aren't most dad's (and mom's) married BEFORE you are born?
Or did you just ask it wrong?
1 you may have to show a income that would support them both and yourself.
2 a house for you and them to stay which is owned by you or the person they are going to stay with.
3 if there not looking to stay they will have to prove that they are going to be returning to there own country. to do this they will have to have a house that they own where they are. a job to go back to, and a bank account with quite a bit of money in it.
Why bother? Just have them visit Mexico and swim across the border! The politicians here will make them full citizens in two shakes of a cat’s ***. I am not being facetious
you can do it for you dad it would take like around 6 months to a year but you cant do it for her your dad has to wait 5 yrs after getting his green card to become a us citizen and then she can help her.
Yes - and I suggest you get started soon if you want to do it. -The proposed new immigration law may give immigration preference to people with needed job skills rather than family members.
