Did anyone ever abandon their Greencard?
What was your experience. Was it emotionally difficult to give it up?
Answer:
I know of about five who did and most returned to their home countries started families, had kids so giving up the card was easier and no intentions to return.
Its also deopends on where you are from, your connection with your family, your roots, your people, your country, your loaylty, your plans for the future such as work in your country or US...the list can go on and on, Its all depends on your life goals.
Giving up ANYTHING is never easy...... its a personal choice
i came to the us when i was 5.. i am now 19... i havenbt been able to give it up.. i would love to though..
i think when you make that change in your life the only way to turn it around is if you really love where you came from and you can handle the rest of yuor life there then move back.. .
i think its the hardest change ever emotionally..
What did you say~
It must be difficult for someone to not have all the freedoms we enjoy in the USA, have access to them for years, then give them up again. Very difficult.
