I keep getting bombarded with Russian women saying they want to meet a nice Englishman in another chat room...Are you going to stay with him once you are legal and settled here..just wondering.
You would only get a spouse visa if your husband could show that he could support and accommodate you in the UK without help from the state. He would need to supply bank statements, wage slips, and details of suitable accommodation. I would suggest that your husband get some advice from a solicitor, law centre or citizen's advice bureau.
I presume that the registration in April is the official wedding in Russian law, that would be accepted as a marriage in UK law as well.
If there are no problems, I think a spouse visa should take about a couple of months to come through. However, you would then need to actually live in UK, with a view to getting settled status after two years, if you are still married. I don't think there would be any problems in returning to Russia for the church wedding, but do check this out with a qualified immigration advisor.

So you are getting married in a civil ceremony in April, and you want to arrange your spouse visa by July. That shouldn't be difficult. It doesn't seem as complicated as you are making it out to be. When the church wedding is will not be important to the embassy.
It is much easier to apply for a spouse visa out of the country as you are doing than applying for a spouse visa once you are already in the country.
Contact the British Embassy in Moscow, and ask what paper work you can start applying for now to get things moving smoothly. You will need to produce a lot of paper work to prove that your relationship is genuine as you currently live apart. Things like phone records, passports (his or yours) showing dates of visits, statements from people who know you, any kind of shared financial obligations eg mortgages, shared holidays, joint savings etc etc are the kind of things the embassy will want to see, simply getting married and showing the piece of paper is not enough.

Your query bit anxious !! Are you sure you are not married yet?
If your partner is ready to send some documents to you after his MA course in LONDON it will be easy to work out the things.
If he is having more schedule in studying then it is adviced to get married in Russia soon with registration , embassy attestation and other supporting documents . After some time let your husband go back to London and invite you with staying arrangement in London..( tenancy agreement ) so that you will be getting spouse visa to work in london.

Slow down.You cannot have it the way you want it withe dates quoted.The simplest and quickest way is to apply to the British Embassy in Moscow for a Fiance Visa.Providing you furnish the correct Documents as per the website you should get one quickly and I mean quickly.On arrival in the Uk you will not have recourse to Public Funds and you cannot work until you are married.After 2 yrs you become elegible for Public Funds and Citizenship.
The application for a visa must be completed online and they will need to see you for short interview only.They are lovely people to deal with and so are our immigration officers in the Uk.You are strongly advised to tell the whole truth otherwise it will prejudice any future application...Best of Luck
